BRL (Battlerite League) will officially start November 5th.

All entries will be finalized and the entry phase will be over on November 1st.

    Saturday - NA at 1500(3PM)-2000(8PM)
    Sunday - EU at 1000(10AM)-1500(3PM)

    These will be 2v2 tournaments.

All times are in US Central Time. See https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html to see what time that will be in your area.

Meaning Every Saturday at 1500-2000 there will be 5 teams playing against one another on the NA side. And every Sunday from 1500-2000 there will be 5 teams playing against one another on the EU side. Each match will have 50 minutes to report their game. If your match starts at 1500 you will have until 1550 to report your match.

This will be double elimination. Meaning that a team that losses will then go to the losing bracket to battle against another team who has lost. Once you lose twice you will be out of the tournament.

At the end of the tournament we will look at both winning teams from each area (NA, and EU) and determine a server that has about equal latency for them. They then will go at it with however eliminations they have. Meaning, if NA winner hasn't lost a single game, but EU has lost a game, NA still has 2 tries whilst EU has a single try. The winner from them both will be crowned the world champion of the BRL, and each team will be crowned the local champion of BRL EU or BRL NA.

If you'd like to register for the NA BRL click HERE

If you'd like to register for the EU BRL click HERE

Will the matches themselves be 3/5 or 5/9?

I'm sorry but I don't understand the times you've posted..? What do you mean with 01500-2000 for example? To be more specific, I'd play on EU.

1500-2000 means 3pm - 8pm US Central Time. If you'd like to see what time that is in your area visit here: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

Which, now that I think about it, I'll have to adjust the times. 1500-2000 EU isn't fair as that'll last until 3am or so.

    Edit: I changed the Sunday (EU) times to 1000 (10am) - 1500 (3pm)

I want this to be a legit, official type of thing. I'm currently running through all the situations in my head on how I'll go about livestreaming this event, etc.

I'll go ask my friends if anyone is up to duo.

On a side note, in EU West time (GMT+1) that would be from 12:00 until 17:00, first games starting Sunday 6th of November?

And how would you manage to have 5 teams do double elimination? Like shown below?

I'm not sure about the time, use the time link I sent you and plug those times in. The times listed above are US Central Time.

EU Will be November 6th, correct. I'll update that information now.

In the case of uneven teams the 5th team will simply batter the first loser in the losing racket, and then the winner of the next game's racket. Seeing as it's double elimination it isn't too hard to plan it in as we go :)

Of course. For example, this tournament isn't on this weekend, you're talking about the $50 prize pool tournament. This is the BRL (Battlerite League) tournament. Which will start November 5th, and consist of both NA, and EU tournaments. We will be doing tournaments quite often :D

Eventually :) Once we get enough people. The requirement for the tournaments are 8 teams. If we have enough people after the BRL tournament then we will do them after, and incorporated in the next BRL tournament :)

I think the Rules are too harsh (even that they aren't) for a lot of teams to sign up. :/
Many people won't do an account on forum and fill those information just to participate.
